They would fit well in this game. They have a lot of catchy songs with fun instrument parts and cool lyrics to sing, so it would be nice if they would be put into the game.

I am old, so I grew up listening to 1,000 smooth.... and Kerplunk. Since Welcome to Paradise was also on Kerplunk, its my top choice.

Well, they have A LOT of fans. Not just kids who recently picked up American Idiot for the first time either. People who discovered them back in 1994 as well as those who heard their early stuff first from Kerplunk and 39/Smooth. They have a pretty large fanbase.

I hope they eventually get downloadable albums. One of the only bands where I probably would get ALL of their albums.

But I think I'd like 'Basket Case' above the rest.

No you're right, the bass parts are pretty cool. I have the tendency to overlook bass on occasion.

Some would be good, but most of their singles are exercizes in using three chords.

They have good little-known tracks, though, like Having A Blast, Welcome to Paradise, or I Fought the Law.

I've heard the original and I'm trying to imagine it played by Green Day, and I must say I like the idea.
