Logic says if the box says "PS3 guitar inside," there is a PS3 guitar inside. However, as is evident in this forum, there have been all sorts of shipping errors on EA's part.
But are people who are getting the wrong box (PS3 guitar box shows up instead of Xbox 360 guitar box) actually opening the box and making sure they didn't actually get the correct guitar? It is possible the guitars are getting packaged into the incorrect boxes (supply problems? incompetence?), but still getting shipped to people for the correct console.
Just a thought.
