Here is yet ANOTHER list of songs... Some of these may or may not be on other people's lists. (It's like, get enough people together and you get massive overlap - kinda like the 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon!)

I'd love to see any of these in the game, whether it's on the retail edition or for download. I of course, save the best (and longest) for last! ;)

In No Particular Order Or Reasoning But Grouped For Easier Reading:
Sweet Emotion - Aerosmith (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yGCHPmfqT0)
Love At First Feel - AC/DC (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Surhf-61tNY)
Blitzkrieg Bop - The Ramones (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLWGSRQrbQs)
Pretty Vacant - The Sex Pistols (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ci5SZx3VI_U)
Life In The Fast Lane - The Eagles (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFlZwOotmkQ)
Time Has Come Today - The Chamber Brothers (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=misGExA4HY0)

Secret Agent Man - Devo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utyDw4rvli8)
Punk Rock Girl - The Dead Milkmen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0cqlK9oQ_g)
I Hate Myself For Loving You - Joan Jett (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ba7lNTuPPXQ)
Knocking At Your Back Door - Deep Purple (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIZpF111Ojw)
Another Brick In The Wall Pt 2 - Pink Floyd (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=df8MikZx6w4)

I Love Myself Today - Bif Naked (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kz3sML5VsNs)
The Dope Show - Marilyn Manson (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFiuPnWBM80)
Guerilla Radio - Rage Against The Machine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lz-XbE_BYqs)
Mrs. Robinson - The Lemonheads (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6KLpIDbfTw)

Special Request - My fave all-time song:
The Musical Box - Genesis (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTTf1-pD5D8)

I know what your thinking: "The Musical Box??? WTF is THAT?"
or if you know the song: "The Musical Box??? WTF are you INSANE?? This thing is longer than Stairway to Heaven, and only a fraction as good!"
If that's your reaction, then that's fine. For me, playing that song with any instrument would be an endurance test. And everyone wants Led Zep, Metallica, etc, etc... I'm trying to think outside the box on that one. And besides, it's virtually unknown outside of Genesis fans and musicians! It would be really nice to see that song in the game! (IMHO, any song with Gabriel and Collins is good enough for me!) :D

So, what do people think? :( Do any of them have a shot?

I have now included links, just in case you have no idea wtf I'm talking about! =D

I like it. Could use more songs though. I'd say a more guitary Pink Floyd song would be better like Run like Hell, In the Flesh, Have a cigar, or anything else.

Strangely enough, I don't hate this list. The only real exception I have is with Mrs. Robinson. Soley for the fact that I think The Lemonheads could be much better represented by say 'Hate Your Friends' or 'Uhh', and not a cover song. That's just my not so humble opinion.

I agree, BUT I wanted to have a Simon and Garfunkel song - yet I couldn't think of one that could fit RB - except for this cover. It's a compromise on my part, and to placate those who say there are only 'really old songs' and hate them!

 ...you... you got me there! :D I agree! Give that man a bubblegum cigar!

Uhm, yeah. Do you think that the drums are not worthy of that phrase? Maybe a 10 minute song is way too short for ya? Or maybe you need all songs to be based on a fast 3 1/2 minute axe job? I am confoozled by that statement.

A Hazy Shade of Winter (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRwURvCqSOk)? It'd have to be an early tier song, but it would still rock. And nearly any S&G song would be great for singing.
