Last semester I took a digital music class and the final project was to create our own song using FLStudio and/or live instruments. I chose to use all live instruments since the teachers brought in a bass guitar, an electric guitar (strat) and they put together money to buy an e-kit for the class.
Here is the link for the mp3. http://www.filedropper.com/digitalmusic It's about 9Mb.
The last part of the song is pretty funny because it gets way out of sync and the volume levels are way off. That's partly due because I only had one class period to record everything for that song except the bass and get them all synced up and balance the volumes. That being said it doesn't excuse the sloppy play. :P
Not that it's any mystery but the first person to correctly name all of the songs covered in my song gets 2 bucks and a slap on the behind.

college, its called digital music, its the easiest class ever, most kids just use flstudio, make some ****ty techno loops, and call it a semester

Battery's one of them. So is Reptilia.
Songs in order:
1. "Time is Running Out" by Muse
2. "Take the Power Back" by Rage Against the Machine
3. "Battery" by Metallica
4. Not sure about this one, but I think it's by Creed?
5. This one was a mystery to me too.
6. "Reptilia" by The Strokes
Jolly good job, mate...except for Reptilia being horribly out of sync. :)

So it was a college course in digital music and they didnt teach you how to use garage band?
I went to school for audio and I took a similar class called MIDI and our final project was to completely redud the sound in a movie clip.

5th song is The Small Print by Muse.
Most underrated song by them easily.
Also, Fruity Loops is godly, if I'm bored I sit there and make dubstep stuff for half an hour.

yea it was, there were two professors, both were totally stoners back in the day, one would come in with his harmonica and play all day, the other would jam on the guitar while the lab assistants taught the class.
most of my class periods were spent jamming with this other kid, since the professor kept forgetting the line 6 little recording hardware thingy, so i couldn't do anything "productive"

Right, #2 is "Know Your Enemy" by Rage, not Take the Power Back. Still no idea about 4.
