Unlocking songs, PS3 version...

Okay, so I'm a noob, and I know this question will probably get me crap, but please don't take it too hard on me. Anyways, I was wondering how to unlock all the songs in the Multiplayer Mode. If I just play Solo Tour and complete it all, will that also unlock all the songs when I play Multiplayer Mode? or do I have to complete the entire Multiplayer Band Tour mode in order to unlock the songs in multiplayer?

lastly, is there a code to unlock all the songs like in Guitar Hero? thanks

Play a solo tour on Medium or better and you'll unlock all the songs for Quickplay.

If you include the character who did the solo tour in a BWT band, every song he unlocked will be available to the band in the Make Your Own setlist gigs.

At this point, no one knows of an "Unlock All" for the PS3, but the code for the 360 disables saving, so it's really only good for a party mode.

afaik, some kind of tour is the only means to unlock songs. i think it's more fun. i just got my copy today. i'm assuming that the more fans/venues/cities you unlock, the more songs? that sounds right. i'll go with that. lol.

btw, jumped into an online game....the songlist looks better when you're actually playing.

Id like to know something as well. If I play through a solo career with guitar and unlock all the songs for quick play will they be available in quick play for other instruments like the drums?
I really suck at the drums right now but beating this game using the guitar isnt going to be a problem. I just want to try all the tunes on the drums.

Just to cover this from the other angle as well, there are no songs that HAVE to be unlocked in multiplayer. Every song in the game can be unlocked through the Solo Tour.

That was one of the most annoying things in Guitar Hero 3 for me - the fact that six or so songs were just not available unless you'd beat Co-Op Career as well. Since I only had one guitar, that meant playing with the Siraxis controller while my friend played guitar. Not fun. Then, even when you do unlock them, they still don't appear in the Solo Career list - so your only option to play them is in Quick Play where you don't get a nice easy list of your high score and stars ranking for the songs.

I love Band World Tour mode much more than just a plain list of songs. But you know what I like less than a plain list of songs? An INCOMPLETE list of songs! :mad:
