Free game due to broken guitar?

My Rock Band guitar was replaced but I never heard anything from EA about the awesome program they are doing and giving those of us affected a free game. Is there some reason I may not have gotten it?

More importantly is there anything I can do to get it? That would be great.

Anyone who got the free game had a problem with their equipment within a day or two of launch and had to wait about two weeks for their replacement unit. If that describes you, you should already have been contacted by them about the free game.

Well I guess I had a problem within 4 days and had to wait nearly 2 weeks.

Maybe that doesn't qualify? Kinda lame.

Not true, I chose the alternate shipment and I chose my free game yesterday. NHL 08 :D

You'll get a free game it just will take weeks again like it did for the replacement guitars, they are doing the list backwards again apparantly, it must be a EA motto to work backwards.

my problem happened the 2nd day of playing. ( i got it the day it came out, first one in the store). but i didn't ask for a new one for about a week later b/c my house lost internet, so i couldn't order anything...so, do i stilll quilfy for it, since i did have equipment malfunction within the time period?
