How easy is it to break the drums down for transport and stowing and so forth?
Right now I've got the standalone game. I'm likely to buy the drum kit once it's available on its own. But, the place I play the most is my office. Our lounge doesn't have room to have the drum kit set up all the time -- we'd need to toss it together at lunch time, and then break it down and stow it when lunch is over.
I'd also like to be able to throw it into a backpack so I could play both at home and at work.
So, anyone got pictures of the drum kit taken apart and made as compact as possible? Can anyone describe what's involved in breaking it down and putting it together? Or should I just give up on the drums entirely?

Takes maybe 30 seconds tops to assemble, very easy. I wouldn't give up on drums, whenever I do multiplayer people always fight for the drummer slot because it's a blast.

Its not difficult at all, I've done it many times to bring it to my friend's houses. I would suggest getting a duffle bag if you will be transporting it alot, makes it really easy and it all fits in aside from the drum top.
edit booooooo apples!! haha dam my slow typing *shakes fit*

Ah, so the four drum pads do not separate from each other? That top thing can't collapse at all? That's pretty big, not sure we'll have room for it. I certainly don't want to take it on the bus every day. I'll scout around for storage areas that would fit that later on today. Thanks for the pointer!
On the plus side, it looks like we might be able to forget about the legs and just set the drum pads up on a tabletop. If that works, that'd save us some room during actual gameplay.
