Looking at this soundtrack, it seems EA's MTV dealings can lead to some pretty awesome songs... let's hope some of these are an indication for future Rock Band licensing! Obviously the exclusivity deal with Activision/GNR doesn't extend to all games...

"Paradise City" would be pretty sweet...

I think Slash owns the rights to a few of the songs, namely the ones Velvet Revolver covers. I could be wrong, though.

Well, yeah, obviously with GnR the exclusivity was only between Guitar Hero III and Rock Band. Harmonix has already said that in an interview.
