From a business aspect, if you are selling your goods, you want as many people to see your product or what you offer and have the easiest access to it as possible. So it is kinda silly for HMX not having a DLC link right off of the main page in the RB game. GH3 does a good job of taking you directly to the DLC. Not only would it make it easier on the gamers, but this should be done also for impulse reasons. Say i have some friends over and they say "Go check out the DLC page" and someone says "OMG I didnt know that was available, BUY IT NOW!"
Anyways, from a business/gamer/impulse point of view, this should've been done. I just hate logging out of my game, logging into the market place, searching the new dlc availability. Its a pain in the butt.

I agree, I don't buy much DLC for other games at all and it took me a while to find it.

The community section of the UI is pretty sparse, that would be a good spot for it IMHO. :D

I also agree. Not so much to make it easier to find, but because the standard MS interface is not going to part a large quantity of songs. It would also be nice if we could here a quick sample of the song to know if covers are any good.

That's where I looked for it at first...I was confused

agreed with apples and agreed with Capn.
It kinda like the purchasing a picture pack without seeing what the pics are. Kinda silly if you ask me. At least you can hop online and check the song out though, even though it is a pain in the butt as well.

I like how GH shows you when new dlc is available. I hate going in to Marketplace, scrolling throught menus, and finding RB and then seeing that there is nothing new.

Agreed. Although, I think that on their site (or as a part of the game itself) you should be able to watch trailers with the song on it, similar to the stuff on the disc for the main game.
I'd assume this is why they are waiting on launching the community site - it's more than just a web-page setup for them. I'd guess that there will be a general patch out at the same time to link in new functions to the game itself when released.
Time will tell, hopefully we'll get the new community site as a Christmas present this year.

2 or 3 different threads on this already. Supposition is that the update to the RB Servers this morning is holding it up. Should show up after 11am EST.

They should take a look at Singstar PS3, by far the best implementation of an online store on any console. Having a community section like Singstar has would be cool too.

not only do they need a section to download DLC specifically in the game (this is like, mandatory, I can't believe they didn't have it)
they also could use a ticker on the title screen or at very least the community section displaying the newest packs if connected to the internet.
