View Full Version : Stereo Problem

Yesterday, I got two brand new CDs, Rubber Soul and Revolver. I have a fairly old stereo that works fine. I put in Rubber Soul and it works perfectly fine. Afterwards, I put in Revolver and it doesn't recognize the disc. After all the times I tried, it worked once, but sounded a tiny bit static-y. I then tried using my Xbox, Walkman, and DVD player to play the disc. Luckily, each one worked perfectly fine, so I know it's a stereo problem and not a disc problem. However, does anybody have a reasoning for this? Any solutions?
Also, it's Memorex. I don't know what kind, but its silver, plays radio, plays CDs, and has auxiliary ports in the back.

Unfortunately, no it is not.
This is like, a small box where the CD and stuff goes. Then, there's two seperate speakers connected by wires. It's not all part of the same thing.

We had this one, (http://www.memorex.com/support/support_product_detail.php?pid=50020)and it was a piece of crap. Busted in no time. We had trouble getting it to eject from day one and it stopped reading CD's altogether in just a couple months.

It's pretty much this, even though the clock looks a bit different...
It did it's job for a while, and I use it for my Xbox as I have it plugged into my monitor.
