rb2 wii scrolling down?

I have a strange issue. My rockband game seems to be stuck on down so it keeps scrolling down. (like someone is holding the down arrow) and no matter how hard I try to scroll up it won't let me. The problem is isolated to rockband, it isn't the wii itself nor the controllers because they work just fine on other games.
I hope I explained my problem ok
Any advice or suggestions?

it has to be the controllers, what instrument are you using?

we have tried it with all instruments off and it still does it, but the controller works fine with other games

So does this happen with the wii remote? Is that what you're trying to say?

no, I'm saying the wii remote is working fine because I have tested it with other games, this scrolling problem that I'm having is only with RB2
