New Rocker Announcement!!!

Nervous, nervous, nervous.

Well, today is the day. Just got off mIRC with Jixzette and she is off to the hospital to give birth to our 3rd.

This is going to be rough for both of us since I have to sit by a computer in Afghanistan and wait for messages to find out what's going on rather than actually being there and she has to go through all of this without me next to her. Kind of sucks, but no worries. Her mom is there so she'll be fine.

I set her up a Twitter account so we can text back and forth and I will update this thread as I get more info. She will also be throwing some stuff up as things happen, so follow her if you wish (http://twitter.com/Jixzette).

Right now I can tell you this: it's a girl and we are naming her Abbygail Ryleigh (the spelling was her doing).

All else coming as soon as I get it.

My fiancee and myself are trying to decide if we want kids right now - if we do, there's a chance he'll be deployed when I deliver too, so its still being decided.

Again, thanks for all the kind words. I thought I might add a few texts I've gotten from my wife via Twitter and some Facebook stuff. One of the things I love about her, she always makes me laugh.

Facebook post the day before the birth: I am eating pickles like they are never gonna plant another cucumber. Weird!

Facebook post the morning before leaving for the hospital: I cannot eat/drink anything until AFTER my c-section. I am starving and mom is sitting behind me eating pop tarts and drinking coffee. Evil! I keep finding myself singing "I'm on my way from misery to happiness today uh huh uh huh uh huh".

Tweet before leaving for the hospital: Just asked the L&D nurse if i could wear deoderant in the morning! I am strange!

Tweet shortly after the baby was born: Just me and Abby getting to know each other :-) such a tiny little thing makes lotsa poo hehe.

Dawwww so cute, I noticed the breathing thing for the boy in one of the pictures...does he have asthma? I used to have it as a kid and was once hospitalized for bronchitis I remember those things.
