Why would Harmonix lie and say they had shipped on Dec. 17? If they had, wouldn't the game be availabe today? I pre-ordered mine months ago from gamestop and now they're saying it will be available on the 21st. What's the hold up? Has there even been an explanation, yet. If there has been then I apologize for this thread and everyone can completely disregard it. I WANT ANSWERS!

We should get like a free hat for all this trouble. AT LEAST!

Did you order it online or from a local Gamestop retail store? I ask because I just ordered it online from Gamestop today with overnight shipping. With the 24 hours to process the order, I expect mine to be at my house on the 20th. It sure as hell better be, anyway. I paid over $30 for shipping and handling and they already raided my bank account for the money.

I assume this is for Canada? Correct me if I'm wrong on that point.

Assuming this is for Canada then it makes perfect sense that it will take until the 21st... Electronics crossing over the border often get delayed, it is very unlikely to have a 1 day ship time if it is crossing over the border.

No. I don't live in Canada. I live in New York.

Regarding the other person. I went to the store and put a $25 dollar down payment on it.

Well, let's see, it leaves EA warehouses on the 17th, we'll assume this is in the middle of the U.S., so it takes at least 15 hours just to reach the border. Then, it gets held up at customs for who knows how long. We'll say another 5 hours.

So at this point, almost a day later (18th), it's finally in Canada! Hurray! But wait, the truck delivers to the major retailers warehouse, not to the stores themselves! So it takes until the next day to ship out (19th!). The retailers receive it, but they usually unloaded trucks at night, so it's not even off the truck until the next day (20th!!).

It's too bad they haven't figured out machines to instantly transfer objects across the world...

or a way to instill patience into people...

So it potentially shipped yesterday, and you're throwing a tantrum because it didn't arrive the next day?

Is it at all conceivable that shipping takes more than one day?

Locking, due to inflamatory nature of the post. This question could have been posed in a logical, well reasoned manner without the baseless accusations and insults.
