In response to your other posts: Today is the day it is "released" in Canada. That means released for the stores to sell by EA. Most retailers keep it out of stores in order to keep low level employees from breaking the "street date". Your issue is with the stores, not EA.

I think the poster is talking about the PS2 bundle in the US, not the Canada release. I saw an earlier rant topic that was closed and mentioned about being in New York.

It was supposed to be, but almost no one has been able to find it in stores. I've only read one guy on this board who said he got it at target yesterday (or sunday, can't remember), and he was probably a special case. Hopefully people will be begin to see them tomorrow, but we've been misinformed before :P.

There's alot on ebay going for ridiculous amounts. I check every day trying desperately to find one that I can import here to Australia. The shipping alone is around $100US! I'd get the Ps3 bundle (total of around $340aud) if I could get a hold of a Ps2 ISO somewhere online.

I don't want to pay for the bundle, ps2 game disc only on top of the shipping amount. It's just too much.

I got one from sams club yesterday for $150. The funny thing is, I gave up on finding the ps2 version. I just went to that store to get the ps3 bundle because its 10 dollars cheaper there. I was gonna trade in the ps3 disc for the ps2 version.

I picked my reserved PS2 copy up at Gamestop in La Crosse last night. Came home and rocked out. So far it's awesome! No problems with any peripherals (knocks on wood). We played about 3 hours last night.

Since I'll already be buying a copy of it with the Ps3 bundle, it's at least morally legal. Anyway, I don't think this path will be working out anyway. I'm desperate for the Ps2 bundle. It's gonna cost me a small fortune, but I really want it asap. It is a fill in until my local release sometime in March, where I'll buy it for Xbox 360.

Dang, I got a copy last night and the store I was at had several! I kept looking at the box where it says Playstation 2 because I didn't really believe it was a PS2 bundle I had.

If I would have known that they were selling for $300 on eBay, I would have picked up every copy in that store. But usually my luck has it that I do stuff like that, then every store in America would get it in and I would be stuck with my 15 copies trying to sell them for $30 less then retail just to get some of my money back. ;)
