so i'm wondering, with the change in artsyle from the classic oval dealies, to these new bars, how are we guitarists to tell which notes are ho/po-able. or are all the notes going to be ho/po able, or is it just gonna be something we have to figure out
also, i still think a line across the screen like the drummer's kick drum would be nice for guitar as an open strum (palm mute/muffled strings)
but yeah mostly just concerned about the hammer on pull off system

Ho/Pos are indicated by small circles instead of the rectangle. If you watch the videos closely you will see some.

yep. It took me a while to get used to looking for those white/black lines without even thinking. This looks much better :D

Hunh? There were indictators in Guitar Hero that said what were hammer ons and pull offs? Or do you mean the tempo lines on the scrolling fretboard?

Not many people actually catch on to that unless you explain it... There are black rings around the center of some notes, those are strum only. If a note has only a white center circle with no black ring, you can HO/PO.

I actually noticed since I was looking for them after I asked that question.
They're not worth looking for, though. My eye can just tell what notes are HO/PO-able by judging their distance better than trying to find those miniscule rings.
