You sent this box and the replacement drum pedal to the wrong address. I told the representative on the phone that I was moving and to send the packages to my new address. Nonetheless, I sent back the defective guitar controller.

When should I expect my replacement guitar controller? I returned the defective one on 12/07/2007. I assume you have received it by now. Was my replacement sent to the wrong address as well? It's been 25 days since I purchased Rock Band and I still don't have a functioning guitar.

I tested the replacement drum pads I received and, while the performance is much better than the first set, the red and green pads still do not register fast rolls. I am hesitant to RMA it again for fear I'll receive another defective kit. Users have implemented (warranty-voiding) mods that they say have solved all the problems. Why is it that they can solve the problem but the Rock Band hardware designers can not? It's been 25 days since I purchased Rock Band and I still don't have a functioning drum kit.

Other users have done multiple consecutive RMAs in the time it's taken for me to just get the guitar!

Now I will say that the microphone is working as well as can be expected and my sister has been having a grand old time singing.

My current address, in case your records were not updated correctly, is
[REMOVED]

I've seriously been considering returning this to Wal-Mart, but I can't even do that because I don't have all the hardware.

I received no response... Here's my followup I just posted.

I've just been informed by my old roommate that my guitar was indeed shipped to the wrong address. So now my status is:

In my possession is a defective drum controller. 150 miles away is a brand new guitar controller. According to the tracking information ( 1Z W1A 182 87 9491 041 9 -- my old roommate gave me the tracking number off the box), this was sent out yesterday -- 2 days after I sent the message including the address confusion.

Now what am I supposed to do??? Am I supposed to drive 5 hours (2.5 hours each way) to pick up something, when I clearly stated on the phone where to ship it, and then I followed up with an electronic message when I realized there might be confusion. I've done everything I can to facilitate the situation.

So what do I do about the guitar situation? What do I do with the faulty drum kit?

You should have called. You can't rely on people reading your email the second after you send it. At this point I would just drive and pick it up yourself unless you feel like waiting even longer.

Even calling does no good. I have found customer service is shady at best on the phone, depending on who you talk to. It ranges from people who don't speak english who know nothing, to people who appear to know what's going on, but in the end, I had nothing but bad experiences, which you can read about here....
