I'm making this thread to commemorate my having been banned from The Escapist for no good reason.
I was posting my opinion in a 'Post you're opinion about this' type thread. Some people agreed with me, some disagreed, and some were flat out p*ssed at my comment. The thread got clogged with around 2 pages of flame posts twards me. Rather than punishing the people that were actualy breaking the rules, the Admin decides to take it up with me. He told me "..not to make any controversial and/or troll like posts." I replied, telling him that if (copy/pasted from the original message) "..people aren't happy with me posting my thoughts on a thread about opinions, they shouldn't go to threads like that, and if they do, they should know enough not to make a big scene. Or at least they would if you were talking to them instead of me."
I got a 5 day ban and a nice little PM that said to think twice before I post. I admit, I shouldn't have worded my point the way I did, but what happened happened.
I wan't to know some ban stories from you guys. And don't act like you've never been banned. We all have. (If you truely havn't, you must be doing something right :D) Just don't bash or flame any moderators. I assume everyone is better than that.
