I was bopping right along in PS3 expert guitar on Run To The Hills when I got to Bridge and Bridge A (after the guitar solo.) It's a section of fast triplets with two green notes followed by a two-note chord going up and down the scale (G,G,RY,G,G,RY,G,G,RB,G,G,RB,G,G,YB,etc.) I figured that all I'd need to do was hold down the green key and hit the chords, since the green key would be a lower-note fret and wouldn't count against me on the chords. Nope...if I'm touching the green fret, it won't register my chords. Even in practice mode on 50% speed. Am I wrong that this method ought to work? I'm playing on my brand-new (2nd) replacement guitar, but the old note-skipping one won't acknowledge a single chord with green held down in that section either. Shouldn't I be able to play that part in that manner? I dread trying to slide up and down the fret board without the fingering that you'd think that part was designed for.

Chords require you to hit ONLY the notes in the chords.

On chords you have to hold exactly what is being shown. You can't hold any other buttons.

Yep, and that's how it has always been. Sorry, bud.

Yeah, this game and every Guitar Hero game before it has behaved the same way with chords.
