WII trouble... footpad

I am having problems with the drum foot pedal... the drums work fine but the foot pedal is not responding. I checked that the pedal is plugged into the right jack and have tried unplugging and replugging the connection. I have also tried re-syncing the system as well... no luck.

I have noticed that when I unplug and replug the foot pedal from the drums there is a connection - if I wiggle it it works (plug only, not foot pedal). For instance... I had the game on the song list and was testing the foot pedal.... as i used it with my foot it wouldnt change the sort type in the song list HOWEVER if I fiddled with the jack plug it DID change the sort type... Not really sure what that means but I know that's not how it's supposed to work. Maybe a loose connection??

Does anybody have any suggestions??? I'm stumped.

not sure if it matters or not but i've got the new Beatles Rockband system....

Hmm is it the normal Rock Band kick pedal? Try using freestyle mode to calibrate. When you pull it out does it respond or just when you fiddle with it?

It's the beatles set... I'm not sure how to freestyle?
It works when it's pulled in/out and when it's fiddled with....

oh sorry, in that case i cant help you i dont have the beatles set...

it's the connection - I have the same problem, first the pedal is working but if you hit the pads a few times the pedal stops working. keep thrashing around and eventually it comes back. seems a shame to throw the whole drum set out just because the tiny little connection "she no work" but it's really frustrating in the middle of a song for it to only work intermittently
