USGS isn't showing any earthquakes on the East Coast within the last day. Also, I'm in touch with enough Bostoners that I'd know if there was a noticeable quake there; Pope is the only one who mentioned anything. Earthquakes in the northeast are exceptionally rare, and never very strong anyway. Don't worry about it, he probably just had a big truck go by or some exceptionally rambunctious neighbors.
