Your site is great. It works 250% better than Guitar Hero's crappy community site, and you managed to keep the servers up, too. Hats off to you.
There are a few things I want to see on this site, though, for it to really be effective. First off: Who are you kidding? Putting a bunch of text boxes with titles isn't really a "profile". I could probably have typed whatever I wanted and nobody would have known or cared. It's not fun or interesting to type out our favorite this or that, or our first this or that. That's why we have sites like MySpace and Facebook. Don't reinvent the wheel, instead create something new.
Now what we don't have on this site is ANY sort of tracker for specific stats on a per-user basis. Here's what I want to see (you can call it my RB.com wish list :))
A list of recently played songs.
A complete play history with scores, if possible (I know this is probably tough, it can potentially get big. Maybe limit it to the last 100 played songs from any character?)
A list of the most frequently played songs.
A list of the top scoring songs from each instrument category.
A list of the top percentage-wise songs from each instument category (different from scoring, since scores are based on the length of each song).
A list of recent online activity in Band Quickplay Mode ("This player played When You Were Young with Person1 on drums, Person2 on bass, and Person4 on vocals." for example, with links to their profiles.)
A photo of each character. I know your characters must just be composed of multiple models with ID numbers (making it easy to transfer over the Internet), so why not just have a database of every type of face, hair, clothes, etc. and piece it all together into one image (on the fly, then saved/cached). At the very least try to get a face picture in (the clothes can probably get tricky).
A list of songs that the user has purchased.
Which console the user is playing on.
Previews of the songs / links to the songs on iTunes.
A schedule of all finalized downloadable content with titles, dates, and prices posted somewhere.
Show the character's rank without having to look on the Leaderboards, and showing a change over time, something like a week or two (i.e. "Casey - Drums - Career Rank: 1274 (+6)")
I hope you get some ideas, cause if you even only did half of these, it would still be freakin awesome. :)

I have one major request: Remove deleted bands and characters from our lists! I still have a half dozen rockers I made and discarded listed, as well as an earlier version of my band, and have no way to remove them...

I would like to see band photos like the ones you see during certain load-screens be available as wallpapers like the current set on the main site. I mean, I WOULD use those wallpapers but I would prefer my own friends and I's band be the one on display.

I second this! The majority of characters listed are ones made by my stepdaughter, who just loves to make a character, use it for two songs, then go back and make another one.
Other than that... more would be nice, but I'm happy with the site for now. It allows me to communicate with others and check the leaderboards while I'm playing the game, especially if I'm in quickplay and don't want to leave, but something crosses my mind and I want to handle it before I forget.

Yes, I would love it Harmonix if you put in single player stats like recently played songs, most used instrument score on that instrument, and the career score. Personally I was waiting on the site release for that! And I was waiting this whole time so i can flex my programming hand once more to create a dynamic signature to put in forums that has all of your stats! But got here and was disappointed. :( Hope you add this soon.

Personally, I like the text boxes. I find it interesting seeing what bands people like outside of the game.
It may not be Myspace or facebook... but, it's Rock Band related, so it makes sense.
What I'd like to see is the ability to link to "Your Real Band's Music" or something like that. As I imagine a good portion of us have real music projects we're involved with.

Count me in on that one also.
One thing that annoyed me so much about having linked my Guitar Hero 3 progression to an online account was it's relative inconsistency. Sometimes it would update immediately, other times it would update what I'd done after 15 minutes, and then again I could play for an entire evening and it was as if it never happened. For a website that would then put your 'score' next to every post, that was infuriating.
For the most part, I'm very satisfied with the new website, but as stated above, it would be really nice if we could have old bands and characters removed somewhat quicker than they are.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind the ability to delete band characters. Have a mess of chracters who I flat out deleted already.

Yeah... I'm not really interested in the leaderboards. I'm not obsessed with the game enough to stay up for days at a time just so I can be #1 on a board. I'd rather have my personal stats listed on my own profile so that my friends can see my accomplishments, not what rank I am on some dumb board.

from this (http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17002) thread:
There's currently no way to remove characters and bands that were deleted in-game from the website. This is high up on the list of things to fix, so please hold tight and suffer the clutter of characters and bands that were deleted in-game still showing up on the site until we can wrangle a fix for it.

Does anyone else have anything to say BESIDES removing deleted characters? I'm disappointed that's what this thread has turned into, nobody say anything more about it.

Definitely need to have photos of characters in-game and even band logos. I'm not a genius though, so I'm not sure how practical either idea is.
I love the idea of having a the songs listed from most to least by times played. What is the most popular song in Rock Band? which DLC is most popular and do any of them get played more than the included songs?
Which songs get played most at each difficulty level?
