Hi there,

I recently purchased The Beatles game and absolutely love it.

I'm considering getting Rock Band (Rock Band 2 for some reason has not been released in this country yet) mainly because I would love to play the Queen songs that are shortly being released for download.

So my question is, do I have access to the Playstation 3 download store in New Zealand?
And if so, will I be able to download the new Queen songs and play them in Rock Band? That is, are all DLC songs playable in Rock Band or do you need Rock Band 2 for some of them? Finally, if I was to purchase Rock Band from overseas, say Amazon UK since the current exchange rate makes it less than half the price than in the shops here, would I still be able to access DLC or would I need to purchase the game in NZ?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Rock Band DLC songs don't need Rock Band 2 as they are cross compatible with each other.

But yes you do need to be able to access the Playstation Store to buy and download them.

If you import from the UK then the DLC songs in the NZ store should do fine. I have the NZ version of Rock Band and I was able to download and play songs off of the UK store without a problem as technically they're the same game region wise.

Cool, thanks a lot for your quick response. Just thought I'd check as it took a few years for us to get access to Itunes downloads so just because we had the game, I wasn't sure whether we had the DLC access too. I'll probably get it then. Been looking around Amazon to try and take advantage of the awesome exchange rate at the moment. :)
