Blue Man Groups The Complex Album, specificically Sing Along w' Dave Matthews, The Current, and Shadows
about 20 different Tracks from a legendary band overseas called Hammerfall. they are from sweden and are in a little subgenre called "Power Metal", which is very anthemic, fist pumping stuff, and also very remniscent of 80's metal. thing i like about these guys is that thier songs all have a very deeply ingrained fantasy theme (Bordering on D&D level fantasy), which works for me cause i am a HUGE nerd

I've been listening to LOTS of King's X this year. They're one of the best bands of the 80s, 90s, and 00s, and they're still making amazing new albums. Its a power trio where they all sing. The lead singer/bass has a voice like hendrix, and the two white guys make some excellent beatley backing vox when they aren't doing lead themselves. The music draws influence from classic rock, grunge, and prog equally. They never quite broke through to the mainstream, their fans have always been mostly other musicians who worship them - their closest brush with stardom was playing the main stage of woodstock '94
Best albums:
Gretchen Goes to Nebraska
Faith, Hope, Love
Dogman
Ear Candy

Kutsic
09-04-2007, 11:29 AM
It's the same song. The name I gave is what the place I downloaded it from translated it as. I guess I can kinda see it...Troldkog Faren Vild. Trold...Troll..Gnome? That's just a guess.
It'd be nice to have the songs in a state where the names weren't messed up, but I can't find a working torrent of their cds and it's impossible to find them in my state. I work at a record store and I can't get my hands on a damn copy of any of their music.

well since this is an official like huge company site idk if we're allowed to mention downloading music 4 free (lol) but you can always just blog search. but before you do that you need a program like WinRar or WinZip to unzip/extract the files from the archive. look if you have AIM or msn just message me and i'll explain it better and may even upload the albums for u.
also for translations of their norwegian lyrics/song titles refer to this : http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/vintersorg/14870-ulver-translations.html
Kutsic
09-04-2007, 11:47 AM
Thanks for the translations, that helps a lot until I start taking Norwegian next year lol.
I've got Winrar so that works. It'd take forever for me to receive files from another person on AIM (my internet sucks), so if you know a place where I can get basically their entire discography, message me, or if that's somehow going against the rules, my AIM sn is kutsic, just hit me up on there. Any help would be appreciated, cause seriously, single limewire songs really don't cut it.

Hell yeah! I've never been a huge Darkthrone fan, but once they learned how to make a cd that didn't sound like it was recorded on an answering machine stuffed inside a dryer, I started liking em a lot.

The few times I've actually found the will to put myself through listening to Transylvanian Hunger, the musicianship and song writing I can actually make out sounds amazing, but the quality really does ruin it for me. I guess I'm not kvlt or necro enough :P lol
Anyhew, I finally stopped listening to Dethalbum, so now I'm listening to Sikth's "Death of a Dead Day" in honor of the departure of their two vocalists. I don't know how the new one will even begin to compare :(

yeah ik what you're saying but i'm used to the low quality ****ty production with bands like leviathian and xasthur so when i first listened to darkthrone it was nothing new to me (the production i mean)
now playing : death - spiritual healing http://www.erksylvania.com/forum/images/smilies/immortal.gif
