you weren't sure if your own thread was the right one or not? *snicker*

What system are you on? Wii? 360? PS3?

I'm pretty sure he meant the right forum (or sub-forum... whatever General is).

I think he's trying to store the songs on a memory unit.
you probably need a hard drive for songs. There's tons of room for songs there.
plus you'll then be able to export RB1 (as long as you're on PS3 or 360).

You can buy a new hard drive that will allow you far more space than you have now. The current DLC you own have licenses attached to them, your console, gamertag (i think?). And that is transferrable from your old hard drive to your new one. Only downside is you'd have to re-download all your current DLC again, and you'd lose your save files, but in the long run would benefit you more since you wouldn't have to worry about maxing out the hard drive's capacity.

um... How big is your harddrive? I've got well over 25(exactly 96) downloads, and all of Rock Band 1, and it barely takes up 5 gigs...

well, that 25 songs (plus RB1) should in no way max out your hard drive. got any extra stuff on the hard drive that you don't need anymore (game trailers, demos of games you own, etc.)?

I'm guessing you have the 20GB hard drive. Like Explosion suggested, try deleting anything that's taking up space that you don't absolutely need. Demos, installed games that you aren't playing, videos, trailers, music, games that came preinstalled on the hard drive that you never play.

Or get a bigger hard drive.

Well then you need a bigger hard drive. You needed a thread to figure that out?

I've got over 250 songs and I have 40 gigs left over (it's a 60GB hard drive). Get rid of installed games and demos that aren't a necessity.

Ah, yeah, just pick up a hard drive somewhere (ebay has the 20 gig-ers cheap) and slap it on, and you'll be all set. ;)
