dlc question (wii)

i get an error message saying that it can index the dlc now so i have to redownload it. my question is can i delete the pay and play data on the system and then just redownload the songs or will that screw something up? i guess the real question is are the dlc purchases somehow linked to the wii itself so like if i lost all my data it would still say i had the songs purchased or is it saved within the pay and play data itself? thanks in advance

The purchase history is kept on Nintendo's site and is tied to your console. You can use the In Game Music Store Delete option and then redownload without issue.

i dont have the delete option though. all of the old songs that i had just say purchased next to them but the data is all still there so i dont really have any room to download the songs again.

are you talking about deleting things on the console memory, or on an SD card?
