On the main page to rockband there was a release date that said "Coming to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in Fall 2007" but then at the bottom of the summary of the game it said Holiday 2007. When i was checking the site this morning, the "Holiday 2007" is now gone. Hopefully not a typo, and a sign that they are ahead of schedule and we can get our hands on this game sooner then expected !!! :D

That's an interesting change. I think someone said before that the "holiday season" goes anytime from Columbus Day to New Years or something like that.

As Gamestop and other places have it, the supposed release date is Nov. 16th. I trust it will be coming out then, or at the most shortly after. No way it will be out later then mid December, and that's still being on the safe side. I'd love to be rocking out on Thanksgiving weekend!

So it's basically Fall '07 and the Holiday Season at the same time I guess.

But really Fall 07 and Holidays 07 are pretty much the same thing, seeing as how Fall ends Dec. 21st

Considering "Holiday 2007" is part of Fall 2007 (Winter doesn't start until December 21st), I wouldn't get your hopes up for a major date change announcement.

It's not that bad. Plus between now and then Guitar Hero 80's comes out next tuesday. GH 3 will be out in October. You'll have plenty to do until then.

Yeah Fall and Holidays are the same thing, I'm certain. Autumn doesn't even end until December 20th, methinks. Still, loooooong wait.

Its a double edged sword... Because as excited as I am for this game, I am going to need a period in which to get my Halo 3 on. If these two games come out too close to one another, I wouldn't be surprised to see me drop out of school! Haha, im not serious but really, I have to make some tough decisions with the likes of Rock Band, Halo 3, NHL 08, Madden 08, NCAA 08, CoD4, Fallout 3, Assassins Creed, Two Worlds, and sooooo many other good games coming out this year for the 360.

yeah this fall is going to be expenisve for sure. I'll be getting GH 3, Rockband and Halo 3 Collectors Edition. Plus I'm going to have to buy a new subscription to Live since I let my old one lapse.

Holiday release and fall release is the same thing. the biggest hits are released in october and november(moreso november)...which is the fall.... and.. for a reason.. out in time for christmas shopping aka holidays.
