View Full Version : 3rd PS3 Replacement Guitar... Still Broken

I just received my 3rd guitar. And it is still messed up.
1. Overdrive simply does not activate. I fail the song trying to deploy it.
2. Expert doublestrumming (strumming up and down) does not register. The notes randomly fail. Example: "Go With the Flow" is unplayable, the song fails when I try to double strum.
I have contacted them through the support webpage, but they don't seem to care about it.
I can't wait until the patch comes out for ps3 so I can use the guitar hero guitars. I hate Harmonix/MTV

You're definitely not the only one with guitar issues. I'm on my second 360 guitar and its fret buttons get stuck all the time. I think the reason people aren't responding is because this site is so unreliable right now. Give EA a call and make them make you happy. Good luck. I'm probably as frustrated as you are.

my replacement guitar doesnt always activate overdrive. i was waiting to start another RMA request until my first one closed. id hate for there to be any confusion and get charged the $125 so thats why i wanted to play it safe and wait it out.

actually, they won't allow 2 replacements if the first one is in process.

I just got a PS2 "Special Edition" bundle last night and it contains the exact same hardware as the PS3 version. We played for 3 hours last night and had NO problems with the strat. It worked flawlessly and actually performs better than any of the GH controllers, IMHO. Our production date was Nov. 23rd, 2007 just as an FYI.

I received 2 replacement guitars so far. All have failed and the last one still had the two copper connecters that I thought they got rid of for a magnet design?? Its nice that they are still sending out old crap!!!!
