Now that Dec 20th is upon us, can I return my broken guitar. Is there any Canadian warranty information anywhere?

No and no are the quick and dirty answers.
EA = worst company for service ever, even worse than Microsoft and we all know how bad they are.

I just tried the website again and got the "need a valid US address" Red text...

They are going to get tired of Canceling my RMA request... lol

So I noticed on the Rock Band section of the forums, a harmonix employee posted about the DLC date in Canada. Can someone from there please post the official date we Canadians can get our broken instruments warranted? Then you could sticky/lock/delete all of those threads too!

And I'd send a PM to someone to ask, but it appears PMs are gone.

Yeah, that would be a good Idea. Save much chaos in the forums...

DLC is not that great anyways.. Metallica Pack 1 is good, and a few of the singles like CCR, Police - Roxanne, and T-Rex are not bad. As for the rest, what a waste of time and effort it must have been for the HMX to create the in game parts for these songs as they all suck.

Bring out some good DLC. There are tons of old classic rock that everyone loves, what about the good david bowie, and police songs... Everytime I listen to the radio I think "Wow, that would be an awesome tune for RB"

I talked to a guy yesterday at EA and he said it could be as early as the 28th for the canadian returns, but could be as much as a month down the road before we can do this.

The systems is stupid because the only way to find out is to do the return process, which puts a hold on your credit card before it validates your address.

I had to call and have two holds removed from my credit card.. So beware.

Yeah, not happening. Both EB Games and Future Shop in Calgary yesterday were selling the bundles. Sorry EA, time to get off your asses and change your site. Harmonix, it is now past the Canadian release date and EA is still not accepting Canadian warranties. Do something about it.

Only thing I can tell you to do is to fly to the US and drop by the EA home site demanding your replacement guitar. They said offically before that Canadian warrenties would be accepted once the game released in canada. If it's been released in Canada, then they need to step up to the plate and start providing service. Just because Ea is knee deeep in US repairs doesn't give them the right for snub Canadian repairs.

Lets get your sh!t together EA. Its pretty sad when playing with a group of people and they are fighting over the GHII Explorer and not the RB Strat...

And I think if I play one more Metallica song on Hard my drum kit is going to fall apart!

BRING the Warrranty to Canada you MOFOs!!!! please ;)

Now just think of us Canadian PS3 owners in this situation with nothing to fight over other than the drums and the mic :/

Canadians damn well deserve an answer now. It is passed the canadian launch date and this is just ridiculous. What is happening with the canadian warranty program? Do you think we're just going to shut up so you can run out the clock and completely snub our country?

Well the warranty page now works for Canada (just submitted my RMAs).

Now we can all stop *****ing about them snubbing Canada and get with the rest of the nice folks here and ***** about how bad the peripherals are in the first place. :)

I got an opinion question. Should I send in a RMA request just in case? I have yet to open my Rock Band (Manufacture Date of Nov 08) So Should I send a RMA just in case that when I open it on the 25 and somethings wrong I wont have to wait for very long? I wouldn't ,mine waiting for a guitar as I have an explorer for the 360. If anything it would be the drums. Does anyone know it the new drums are better then the older on? Are they sturdier and responsive? Oh and do you have to pay for the shiping?

I would RMA the drum pads and guitar - permitting you have enough cash on a credit card to have room for the hold. Then after 1 week or so if try them both out to see which works better - the ones from xmas or the RMAs they shipped you.
