View Full Version : Warranty Date for Canada??? (sorry, i know canada is a taboo topic here!)

Just searched everywhere, couldn't find the info: could we get a definate date for when Canadian warranty coverage begins? I know, RELEASE date, right??? Yet we don't actually have a release date, we have a shipping date. If anyone (EAviolet, hmxsean?) can answer this, I'd truly appreciate it. Thanks for making a great game (and fixing less-than-great guitars!).

EA is still saying no to my replacement, though they have promised me in writing that they will honour the warranty once the game is RELEASED in Canada. So, I'm asking when the RELEASE date is officially, so I can stop trying to deal with EA every day. THis isn't complaining or whining, just asking for the info.

They said the Official Release date in Canada is Dec 20th, -1 day away.

Ya what's up with that........ my strat is messed up, the support page still wont let Canadians order a new one ?

I talked with one of the support guys yesterday and he told the official date that the warranty applies to Canadians is December 28.

Thank goodness too. I've got two drum pads with cracks, a broken kick pedal and a disc that says at least once a day "disc read error".

The disc read error is probably the system. PS2 or 360?

My system is the 360. Have 15 games and haven't had a problem yet except for this game.

Hopefully it's not the system. But then again it would not surprise me.

Also it was EA tech support that I talked to. He didn't even know what day it would be available. He put me on hold and talked with his supervisor to find out the actual date. Hopes this helps anyone else who has been having problems.
