Trying out one a homemade wood pedal, but this magnet doesn't budge a bit. Ideas?

If you're referring to the magnet in the pedal, were you able to remove the orange piece? If not, it's pretty simple. You just need a punch-type tool to punch out the metal piece at the heel of the pedal, then move the pedal till it detaches from the base. Then remove the four screws on the pedal, and the magnet should fall right out. At least, it came right off of mine.

I''ve already disassembled the rest of the pedal, so yeah. This magnet doesn't fall out.

The ****er isn't moving. I swear, I've banged the **** out of the top of my pedal, I've tried magnetizing it to another magnet and pulling. Nothing. :(

Keebler, You're just going to have to stick a small screwdriver (or similar) in next to the magnet and pry it out. Who cares what it does to the plastic pedal? If you ever had to put it back in, you could just glue it.

Actually, if you're having such problems, why don't you go to a craft store and buy a new magnet? I'm sure it's only a couple bucks; I'm sure they're not neodymium. :)
