I have an 8GB Sony USB Drive here that s in FAT32 format. As far as I know sd cards that the Wii accepts are FAT32 so would my uSB Drive work? If not, when the hell is RB allowing SDHC cards? Because only having 90 songs sucks when I could have over 200...

1) No. The Wii can't use USB for storage, as far as I know.

2) Never. Nintendo doesn't allow patches. (I'm sure that Harmonix would patch RB2 if they could, but it's out of their control)

It is sad that Nintendo goofed up on mass storage; and compounds the problem
by not allowing games to be updated to add support for SDHC. The only hope
I have is that RB3 will support SDHC (highly likely, since TB:RB does) AND that
I'll be able to import my RB2 ondisk and DLC into the RB3 world. Don't know if
this will happen, though. This is one of the major problems with the wii, as
contrasted with xbox's and ps3's inclusion of built-in large disk drives.
