Me and my brother have been trying to gold star I Feel Fine for about 2 days now and its rather difficult. We can both get 99% on drums but not good enough for G* and we can both fc guitar and bass and still no G*. We tried band and still couldnt get it, can anyone suggest a OD/Beatlemania path for any instrument besides vocals?

Don't try doing it on bass, it's impossible, even in a band. For guitar, you practically need to FC the song. The BM path I used on guitar was activating it when "..shes in love with me and I feel fine.." lyrics showed up. If you do it right, you should be able to hit most/all of the chords in the game.

Also, there are many threads on this, I'm sure one of those would of given you the same answer I did.

As stated in some other threads already..
The "easiest" way to GS I Feel Fine is to do it on Expert vocals.
It pings to gold stars at 128k I think.
Trying to GS the song with a full band is very tricky. It feels closer to impossible, really.

For one make sure there is no bass in the band. It is almost impossible with bass. Heres the I feel fine guitar path (http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/6176/ifeelfine.png).

It's very difficult with drums as well. You need the best possible path + an FC, unless you miss like the first or last note.

As everyone has said it is a tough song to GS. Do not use Bass at all, it's impossible to GS with bass and adding a bass to your band takes away from your GS chances.

Go for expert Vox or Drums or Guitar. Guitar isn't bad I didn't even 100% it to get the GS, just use beatlemania during the 3 note chord parts and you should do fine. Remember to hold out for that last bit of charting that gives you Beatlemania, cause you'll need all of it.

It should be really easy if you get a good vox person and do it as a band with drums or guitar or both!

Here are the GS cut-off's for each of the instruments on this song:

Drum: 114,222
Vocals: 125,400

Here are the GS cut-off's for each of the instruments on this song:

Guitar: 75,408
Bass: 10,675
Drum: 114,222
Vocals: 125,400

Bass GS cutoff for I Feel Fine is 42,911. Not 10,675, that would get you around 3.5 stars.

Yeah, I had a brain fart and listed the amount I'm away from the GS rather than the score itself.

I'm picking it out of Automator's Rock Scores app on my iPhone and I just looked at the wrong number as I was typing it out.

I've corrected it in my post.

Full band cutoff is 649,838?! That's crazy.

Can't you just play on chapter challenge, and get gold stars that way?

No, gold stars in chapter challenges do not count toward the gold stars achivements.

What's the cutoff for 2 band members playing on guitar on drums?

I was just playing online now and got just over 200,000 and still no gold stars lol.

EDIT: I just seen the table on page one... 228,000. Damn only just missed it :(

Anybody who is good enough on guitar, FOLLOW THIS PATH! It actually helped me to get that GS. I believe it was just over 74,000, but for the life of me I can't remember the exact number.

If you want the easiest non vocals combination, here is a path for guitar/drums:

Drums: 2/, 2/
Guitar: WD
(if you're not familiar with path notations, that means drums should skip 2 fills and activate, skip 2 fills and activate, and guitar should activate with drums both times. Actually a few beats before drums the 2nd time if you can manage that. Activations are at measures 25 and 46)
Expected score: 258k
GS cutoff: 228k

Bass/drums is ungoldable, it appears. Guitar/bass might be goldable with a perfect path and double FC - it is within 1k of the cutoff.

I got all Gold Stars Achievements/Trophys. I did guitar but I forgot the path. Good Luck!

I got 100% on bass last night and didn't look up the path but I think I did a reasonable job and I was still 5k short of a GS.

This song reminds me of RB1 songs pre-patch. It'll be a nice little thing to do to get the path right...but I'm glad this isn't something we have to do for all the songs!

I got it on guitar last night

I think I put it up during the first "I'm so glad that she's my little girl" part, and then the last "she's in love with me and I feel fine" through the very end

I do know I had to FC it and only got it in the last few notes.
