Because you only deleted them on your local machine. They still exist on the Rock Central servers.

When you delete a band on your console, it doesn't send that fact out to the servers, so the bands still exist on there.

You gotta be kidding me.. my first band i didn't even made a name for it so i just went with the name the game gave me "Snuggle cannon". Is there a way to delete from the servers ?

Yeah.. hopefully they find a way to fix that. As I find it slightly annoying seeing where I recreated the same singer 3 times cause I didn't like the look after seeing them perform.

Still pretty cool in all, but hopefully they can fix that minor annoyance.

That's exactly what I'm hoping for as well. I don't see why they would mind, as it would help clear up a bit of data off their servers.

If someones personal site got hijacked and the characters/bands deleted from the server they'd just come back the next time the person fired up their game and started playing them (as it'd reregister with the servers). I guess could be a problem if someone deleted a band and then a new band with that name got created by someone else in the meantime.

Oh well, one can hope. :D
