Your rock band stats in a sig image!

Yeah...well I took my time to make a little band signature for you to put in any forum that has your bands stats in it! Now the only thing it doesn't have at the moment is the band members one because holy hell lots of getting string lengths and lots of checking with if and else statements due to there being 4 members down to one, and seeing as how all there names are different string lengths :p but if you have any suggestions just post them here! And of course i'm sure there will be a few bugs, and if this is big..my bandwidth may go up, in which...i'll try and get a new domain just for these images, but thats a big if seeing as how i don't think many people will use these. >.< But feel free to contribute your designs! Make sure they are in PNG format. As you can see i'm a horrible designer. I'm just a programmer. :) When single player stats have..well..more information look for those. And if you would like i'm sure i can create a leaderboard image to show the top..10 i'll look in to that if many people want that. And HMX it would be awsome if you stickied this 0_0

EDIT: Wow...okay well when the band name is added everything else is not displayed..so until i fix that..no band name on the image. Sorry. >.<

CENACHAINGANG54: you need to use your band name as formatted in its profile page URL. For example:

My band name is:
Uncle Tusky & The Spudz

Its profile page is:
http://www.rockband.com/bands/uncle_tusky__the_spudz

Its sig image url is:
http://rock.gametages.com/rock_image.php?band_name=uncle_tusky__the_spudz


Make sense? That might be your issue.

That is really nice, but do you think you could make some more options...background color, maybe a singer, guitar player, or drummer? I know a little php (just enough to be dangerous), and I would imagine it wouldn't be that hard. I'm also pretty handy with photoshop and I could possibly make you a few templates.

WOW! Thanks guys! As for the person who posted about the HTML the reason its probably not showing up is because GD is still creating the text to put on the image so you may have to give it a minute to load. As for different backgrounds..gonna work on that now. :) Seeing as how people are using it i'm definitely gonna be working on more features! I'll post an update soon! :)

Sorry I haven't replied to you until now, but yeah I have taken care of that issue :) and when i display your band name its in a different string than the one i used to fetch your stats by using an strreplace function. :) If that makes since..lol

Love the idea! I guess there isn't a whole lot to put on a solo card yet, either per player (name, instrument, score?) or per rocker (name, instrument, hometown, ...why do we get to see our rockers' money but not their career scores? o_o) but I'd love to see one in the future. Great work so far!

Okay well I fixed another bug! Sorry I forgot to transform the spaces into _ when you input your band name! Didn't notice until now! So band names should work now!

The sig looks great; is there any chance of you making a userbar-sized one? I don't know how you'd get all that data, but I already have a sig on the forums I go to but would love a RB one. Don't worry about it, you've done enough already, but it'd be cool.

Works on all forums! :) Plus the HTML link provided when you create it should work on myspace, facebook, etc. etc.

I think there is a chance we could do that. Probably only put like..career score, and the band name or something, and ranks when we have that sorted out. And don't worry about giving us suggestions we are working on it! Gonna develop this to be the best option for your rock band stats outside of this website! :)
