So my aunt and I cannot for the life of us figure out the advanced vocal scoring. Can anybody explain what all the percentages and points mean? We tend to play with two part harmony if that makes a difference.

You get points for every phrase with a "Fab" rating. Getting Fab ratings in a row increases your multiplier (x2, x3, x4) and gives you more points. If you get every phrase in the song with a Fab rating, you'll have 100% on a song. If you get any other rating than "Fab", it will count as a "miss", so you'll get less than 100% at the score screen.
The amount of points determine the star rating, which is sort of like a "grade" for a song. Getting five Gold Stars is the highest rating you can get; but you have to be on Expert to get it.
And with harmonies, you can get a Double Fab for 2-part harmonies and a Triple Fab for 3-part harmonies. If any of you miss a part, you won't get the harmony score bonus.
On the score screen at the end of the song, you can see which singer performed the best, how many of the Double and/or Triple Fabs you got and what percentage you ended up with. If you select "show advanced vocal results" it will show which singer got what percentage of the song and what their individual score is.
I hope this cleared up anything.

I'm wondering if by "advanced vocal scoring" OP is referring to the specifics the game indicates for you with percentages in lead (blue), harmony 1 (yellow), and harmony 2 (red) for each microphone when you press "select" at the scores section after the song.

If that's what you're wondering about, it is indicating what percentage of each part (lead/harmonies) a person with each microphone sang. I love the detail it gives you as hitting "select" here for singing gives you much in terms of detail as to which person on what microphone was singing to whatever extent the lead, harmony 1, or harmony 2. It's also a clever way to figure out who's doing their part better because it's in many cases possible for you to get a good percentage "as a team" vocally when only one person is carrying the team so to speak since it only rates percentage-wise the singer who got the best rating for each phrase. Example: in one phrase of a song, I get "messy" another friend gets the part "strong", and the third gets "fabulous". The game will simply state "fab" and move on. If two harmonies were involved and both were fabulous it's a double fab, but if only one of the harmonies was fab and the other was merely "strong" it's still just "fab" in the end for that phrase. So if you have two friends singing in a "messy" manner and one is perfect and gets fabulous the whole way through, the vocal percentage at the end score will say "100%". BUT if you hit "select" at the scoring section you'll see a very revealing bit of details as to who sang what percentages of the entire song for each part correctly, so then you'll know if someone was carrying the vocal team. :)

What you will see when you hit select at the scores section for vocals is a percentage of the song for lead, harmony 1, and harmony 2 for each microphone sang on the correct pitch. This is taking the cumulative result of all phrases in the song. Let's say I'm on the first microphone which has its own distinctive arrow, and another player is on the red microphone marked by the red arrow in game. We're singing "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band / With a Little Help from my Friends" and when I hit select at the end of the song for scores I see the following:

first microphone:
lead - 80%
harmony 1 - 66%
harmony 2 - 0%

second microphone:
lead - 70%
harmony 1 - 0%
harmony 2 - 40%

It may seem confusing that a singer can do more than 100% of parts but here's why that sort of thing sometimes happens. Think of the song I have mentioned. There are times in WALHFMF where the harmonies are not sung with the lead, which means one person can sing both the lead and one of the two harmonies! With two singers, it's even possible to get a triple fab because the lead part is not sung at the same time as the harmony at some points in certain songs!

For example, harmony 1 and 2 sing "Do you need anybody?" and the lead sings "I just need someone to love."

Now oftentimes a singer who devotes oneself entirely to one of the harmonies will sing the lead part along with the lead singer simply because they have no harmony part yet. In a lot of songs the juicy harmonies don't really come in until "chorus" parts in Beatles songs, so my friends typically sing "lead" with me and so long as they're getting the pitches right, this will chalk up their percentage of singing done for the lead which you can see in the end score if you hit select for vocal scoring details.

I'm sorry if my explanation is not clear but I thought this bit about score details when you hit select is what you're referring to by "advanced vocal scoring" and it was confusing to me at first too but now I think I understand it and hope you do too!
