The "Frickin Impossible TOOL Pack":
Opiate
Prison Sex or Sober (something most people know)
Forty Six and Two
The Grudge
--This would be incredibly challenging on all instruments. Long songs, lots of change ups. And trying to hold a vocal note as long as Maynard AND maintain pitch? Good luck with that.
The "Thumpin' Clutch Pack":
10001110101
Soapmakers
Big News 1 & 2
Animal Farm
--Guitar and Drums would be surprisingly challenging. Awesome bass grooves here. Vocals would be a bit easier. Pitch is less important, but the lyrics are fun enough to make up for it.
The "Rollin' Rollins Band Pack":
Liar
Low Self Opinion
Shame
--Some people may be surprised how tough drums and guitar would be. Bass carries long parts of these. Vocals are easier-more akin to Faith No More.
The "Biohazard Suite Pack":
Tales From The Hard Side
Slam (with Onyx)
Judgement Night (with Onyx)
Five Blocks to the Subway
--There isn't enough opportunity to Rap in Rock Band, but these songs would be a nice blend. Guitar, Bass and Drums are difficult, and the chance to rap out like a gangster.
The "Butthole Surfers/Ministry Pack":
Who Was in My Room Last Night?
Pepper
Dust Devil
Jesus Built My Hotrod
New World Order (N.W.O)
Just One Fix
--It seemed like an interesting idea to put these two bands in a single pack because A) they both have a dirty distortion sound and B) on Jesus Built My Hotrod by Ministry the singer is the guy from Butthole Surfers. In terms of gameplay: play fast. Very Fast. Drums will get a work out on most of these. While Pepper will give a nice bit of a break.
The "Love Letters to Cleo" Pack:
Here and Now
Demon Rock
Veda Very Shining
He's Got An Answer
--Poppy punk songs are somewhat under-represented in Rock Band. This set would just be fun to play as a band. Happy, fast, fun.
The "Cleverly-Named Deftones Pack":
Teething
My Own Summer (Shove It)
Engine No.9
Passenger
Mx
--Um, because they rock crazy. Duh.
The "Dandelion Wine Box" Set:
Weird Out
Trailer Park Girl
Waiting For A Ride
Thorn
(opt substitution/bonus) Weight of the World
--Dandelion, for those who don't know, was what would happen if Nirvana and Phish had a punk baby. Grungy, trippy.
I'd like to see more from:
Garbage
Weezer
Nirvana
NIN
Bands I can't believe they don't have:
Pantera
Megadeth
AC/DC
Led Zeppelin
Rage Against the Machine
Jimi Hendrix
Coal Chamber
Sex Pistols
Cream ("Tales of Brave Ulysses" would be awesome)
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Def Leppard
