Purchased Rock Band SE for xbox 360 through Best Buy website. Arrived Monday and have been playing it everyday, then last night we finished a song and the game just shut off and it went back to dash board. Every time I try and restart the game, it goes to the two intro logo screens then shuts off again. I then put 3 other games in my xbox to try them and they all work just fine with no issues. Then I put Rock Band back in and it doesn't play still. Is there a way I can get just the game disc replaced instead of having to return the whole box of instruments? I tried calling support and didn't really get anywherey, just referred to different people. Thank you ahead of time for your help. Besides the game not working all my instruments are holding up great :D

You can in fact! Pay a nominal fee ($20) and EA will replace your disc! In other words, take it back to the store.

Colte, there is a way to return it to the store without having to give up your instruments. it would require 3 trips, but it might be worth it to you:

1) buy a disc only copy of the game (do NOT open this!).

2) bring your opened copy of the game in to do an exchange stating that the disc is faulty. use the receipt from the disc-only copy you bought.

when they exchange for an opened copy, they typically open the copy they're giving you so that you can't return it for a full refund with your receipt. however, you'll be covered on this aspect as you still have the unopened copy at home to return.

3) now return the unopened copy with your receipt. viola!
