So what is the deal with online bands?

Hi guys,

I just finally found the bundle at Gamestop yesterday and I just had a quick question about the online bands.

I have 3 buddies that live a couple of hours from me but they all have the game too and we want to start a band together. Is there any support for online bands at this point...or do we all just have to get into a quickmatch together and play that way?

It'd would obviously be coolest if we could do a "career" of sorts together online, but if all there is is quickplay then I guess we will live.

Quickplay is your only option right now.

Will online play be patched in later? No one knows for sure, I've read different things that say its going to happen, and others that say you'll have to wait for RB2.

Ah, ok, thanks for the info.

Now that you mention it, you just rang a bell for me actually. I remember reading an interview on Rock Band around the time or just before it came out with one of the Harmonix people basically hinting that Band World Tour would be online eventually. Let's hope so!
