So this thread is coming up after the event but I just wanted to post it so I could link to the TWO Crystal Math videos that we did. One of them even includes me!

It was a rocking night as usual! Anyone know the deal for next month what with Thanksgiving and all?

Hey, I'll be bringing a band to November's ImprovBoston night, and I was hoping you or anyone else who goes there can tell me how it works: they have all DLC available, correct? And bands just take turns playing songs they've selected? How many would one band play in a given night? I'm wondering how many we should prepare!

What normally happens is Harmonix will bring an Xbox will all the current DLC in it. Harmonix was actually awesome enough to let us play the new Queen tracks last week too (as of this post I don't think the songs are out yet)!
So what happens is...
You get a band together.
You go up to the giant song book and look for one you want to play.
You write down your band name and song choice, and give it to the awesome-est hostess ever, Hannah.
If somone has picked that song already, she makes you find a new one (there's a no repeat rule there).
If you need another member, she will help you find one.
Your band goes into the roster, and you just listen for when your band is called on deck.
Your band goes to the on deck spot and gets costumed up while the current band finishes.
Your band melts faces.
Your band is judged by the always charming Harmonix staffers (people I have seen judge previous events include hmxsean, HMXThrasher, HMXHenry, HMXPope, Alex Navarro, Eric Chon, Kat, John Drake, and thebeststeph).
But don't go for gold stars and not rock out or they will make fun of you (actually, they will probably do that anyways - it is a comedy event)!
And to answer the last question, a single band could normally fit in 2 songs on a given night. Bands tend to wait a bit before submitting their next song request so that everyone gets through the roster once.

I've been going since like April, and it's hands down the best Rock band event I've been too and it keeps getting more fun. Definitely make it out for the event. Maybe they'll even have the Lego songs for us next time!

I realized I'm dumb but instead of editing my OP to hide my stupidity I'll just state here that I, for some reason, always think Thanksgiving is on the third Thursday of November. Obviously it's not. So see ya guys at the Improv... please don't make fun of me :P
