View Full Version : Are the forums running slow for anyone else today?

A lot of times when I try to get on, it'll take forever to load or it'll get an error. Does this happen to anyone else?

The tiny number of posts made this afternoon says yes, this is happening to everybody. Whenever you get the errors like the ones you're seeing with the blank page and a couple strings of random text, it's a server problem. If it were on your end, the error screen would be a generic one posted by your web browser.

Edit: And if you get banned, the forum tells you outright that you are banned (and why), though I think you know that one already. ;)

Not only here, but on a different site with the VBulletin forums, too. What's up with that?

Though, right now it's seemingly okay. But, still a little slow occasionally.

Yup, I couldn't get on nearly all day except for one time. Kept getting error messages saying the servers aren't available at this time and blah blah blah.

The forums have been either running slowly, or not working at all for a number of days.

These forums are always slow for me. I tend to get ninja'd like a person on dial-up.

They weren't running that great for me for a few days, but seem to be back on track today.

for me, it just gets going and then gives up when i open a certain page.

example: when i posted this, the quick reply had to posted twice to make anything happen, and then where the site redirects you, i clicked the link. when it redirected me to my post, it froze and gave up on me.

It wasn't working at all for me a few minutes ago... seems to be fine now though.

Looks like they're back to normal speed, for the last 10-15 minutes or so they've been a bit slow.
