It really depends. If you plan on getting all of the DLC and you have a regular 360 (ie, not the Elite), go for the PS3 version because it has more hard drive space. But if you want to use a 4 person band right off the bat, go for the 360 version. Until new guitars release or Activision stops being a douchebag and allows the patch, the 360 version is the better of the two out of the box (provided you've already got the GH3 Les Paul or an old X-Plorer lying around).

PS3... The system needs your sales ;) haha.. j/k (kinda)
I have the PS3 version and am very happy with it.
The poster above mentioned the fact that you can play 4 player if you have GH3 for X360. Also X360 has achievements if you're into such things. Perhaps once Sony releases "Home" the PS3 version of RB will have trophies which would be interesting, but that's just speculation.
More people have bought it for the X360 so far, so if you're into online there's that. Course there is a long thread in the "Band Wanted" forum for PS3 users giving their PSN name for playing online.
Oh X360 has voice chat I believe, which PS3 version does not.
Since I don't have a X360 myself I don't know how bad the RRoD is or any other problems it may have so can't comment on that. I've had zero problems with my PS3.
Oh, one thing I've found in favor of the PS3 (I apologize if I'm off base, going off what I've read): On the PS3 you can download to multiple machines, don't need to be logged in to a specific profile to play the DLC; whereas, with the X360 there seems to be a need to be playing on the profile that you've downloaded it as? Should get confirmation on the part pertaining to the X360 as I don't know for sure). I do know the PS3 version is accurate however.
Hope that helps.
