is there any ranked content in either of the RB versions? as far as I know the only leader boards show how much you;ve amassed in the solo game or BWT.

maybe score battle? but I still dont think those are recorded either.

I was wondering the same thing. I have heard you get something for getting 5 wins in a row for score battle but I have done that but haven't seen anything.

for xbox, you just go to multiplayer, score duel/tug of war, then ranked match (vs player match). I would assume its the same for ps3.

Although I did read one post that said there were no ranked matches for ps3... I was trying to find out if that post was true or not, but i wasn't' able to find anything. Hopefully you get your answer (and ranked matches)

I have never seen a ranked match on PS3.

Sigh....I hate breaking this news. There is no such thing as a "ranked match" for PS3 users. Sorry my friends. :(

Yeah, that stinks. Especially since I'm rated ~450 on solo drums on the leaderboard... I'd love to have some ranking system on PS3 for duels.

I haven't seen it in any of the forum talk, has their been any mention of a possible patch?

This lack of consistency across platforms is absolutely inexcusable.

Ok I just finished typing this on another Thread but I guess I can type it again.

PS3 does not have any type of ranked tug of war or score duel options.

The reason why Xbox 360 does is simple. The True Skill Ranking system in place on our version of RB was made and is Patented by Microsoft. The reason why HMX didnt add any type of rankings is because Sony does not have such a ranking system. Any game that you play on PS3 that has ranks is because the creators of the game took the time to create such a thing and so its placed in all versions, including the PS3. CoD4 is an example.

Yeup, this and an extremely developed voice chat are built directly into the XBox Live network. (You can even have voice chats going on while playing two utterly different single-player games, on XB360.)

When people say that the $8/mo for XBL network play is worth it, this is the sort of reason. Implementing the same stuff for the PS3 costs developers more, because Sony builds less infrastructure into the network itself. If this stuff wasn't built into XBL, I do not believe we XBox players would have it in our versions of Rock Band either.

Yes I will agree, It was Xbox Live and Halo that won me over to the Xbox 360. Belive me the $50 that you spend a year is well worth it. ($50/year is a great deal IMO)

The fact that you can't select the difficulty before you match up with a person is inexcusable. That's just bull**** and completely ruins any online competative aspect of this game. Along with the fact that people quit whenever they start losing... there is no point to even bother with it unless they are on your friends list.

Also, voice chat needs to happen. Seriously, it gimps the online band playability in a bad way.

How do I record scores Online, do I just play single player or do I have to deal with another thing all together concerning this? I searched this website, I searched EA's website, but neither gave me ANY information; and now I am getting incredibly annoyed. p.s. my scores won't record online, either; my game gave me a code to use somewhere, but nothing else on the subject...
