View Full Version : Emails not in spam bin -- Lost password not working?

Help, tech support folks.
I'm trying to get my original username, AdamBomb629, back up and running, but for some reason I am not receiving the "lost password" emails. They are not in my spam bin.
I know this issue is known, but has it been fixed yet? Thanks so much. I look forward to getting on the site.

I dont' think it's been fixed yet. I sent multiple forgotten password requests after they changed my password and haven't received any emails back.

ive clicked through so many threads i cant remember where i saw it, but someone (like hmxsean) said the lost password button isnt even functional yet.

This sounds like the thread I should have come to instead of doing the ego thing and starting my own.
Some of the guys on another Rock Band board have said they got an email that gave them the new password--it was an automatic mail-out.
I didn't, and I tried the "forgot password" link, too.
So, uh...that's pretty much it.

all the passwords were reset and those of us that still have our old logins received the email with the random new password. when i saw sean post in the announcements about the new password coming in the email i went in my profile and re-entered my email to make sure it was correct. maybe that helped.
also most people have the common sense to check the junk mail, but hey double checking wouldnt hurt. i know sometimes i just "check all" and dump. sometimes theres so much crap its easy to overlook.

I did receive the auto-mail out, but the content of the message was blank. It looks like there was an error sending the message. I guess I'll have to wait until the LOST PASSWORD thing starts working again.

Definitely didn't get it. The email address I used for my account is pretty much spam-free at this point--maybe one or two pieces a week--so I don't even filter it.

Keep trying. I finally got mine today. Must of hit that button 20 times yesterday. I did it 3 times today, and lo and behold, 3 password e-mails. I think suckers like me are just bogging the system down.

Bullseye, thank you for letting us know that it worked for you. I ust tried it now and I got my email within a second, guess they fixed that Lost Password link. Finally I can use this login instead of my other, POOPOONAYDEZ.

WooHOo, they got the lost password link working. Thanks for the heads up. It worked for me also.
