Permanent info:batterie is empty although it is via usb

I have the following problem:
Whenever I plug in the drums or the guitar adapter into the usb port, there is a permanent information on the screen (top right side) telling me that the batteries form controller 1 were empty and that I should connect via usb.
It doesn't matter which instrument is connected, it even comes up with the drums, although they don't have batteries.
It is really annoying as the information is visible till I unplug the devise. Apart from this problem all instruments work perfectly.
Do you have any idea what I can do to get rid of this info?

I had this problem, too. It's the PS3 getting confused. One of your *other* controllers has dying batteries. Check all the other ones that are connected, guaranteed one of them has dying batteries. Turn that one off or plug it in via USB and you'll get rid of the message.
