Hey, guys...specifically HMX forum guys...

I created this FakeID (TM) because I never got an email setting me up to reactivate my new ID on the revamped Web site.

If you haven't guessed by now, it's DesiredFX.

I've sent a couple emails and tried to use the "Forgot Password" link, but nothing. All I can think is that I may have botched my original email address (twice) when I signed up last time.

Can anyone help a brother out?

(Not for nothin', but this same thing happened to me over on GameFAQs after the GameSpot acquisition...being fake me is getting to be a habit of sorts...)

Hey bro, it's Soul. Yeah, seems like a lot of the e-mails never went out. Also, the link for the password retrieval exists, but HMXSean said it's not active, nothing set up on the back end. He said they were trying to have it fixed today. Given the time I'm not sure it'll happen today. Either way, we're in for yet another wait. Welcome to the beta.

Here I was hoping this would end up being a nullname.

And I really should have made it DesiredFX-Prime, so that at the very least it could pretend to be an alternate reality version of me...

The only thing that really bugs me is that I wanted to set up my rocker crash pad here, and there's not much reason to do it if I'm just gonna have to do it again when I get the real me back.

If you PM "HMXSean" he can reset your password and let you know what it is when he returns your PM.

Apples sent me in that direction when I had the same thing happen in the old boards.

I had to make this account, because I couldn't log on as my other account, CKarinja. I never received the email for the new password and the Lost Password link doesn't give you anything. I want to PM hmxsean like you said before, but I'm having trouble figuring out how... lol.

lol ...... I just tried too, it seems that there's no PM system on the new boards yet. I didn't go as far as to add him to my buddies to see where that led to.

Well, here's to hoping that the Lost Password link gets fixed soon, so I can request that. I wanted to get my account set up and ready so when I get Rock Band for Christmas, I'll be all set up (And I can't wait to open it up). Only problem is I made CKarinja before the site update, because I've been trying to read up some interesting stuff on the forums.
