just bought ps3 bundle and ps2 game, SERIOUS PROBLEMS

I guess the mic works fine but when using the guitar.....no sound comes out and none of my presses are registering on the screen.......you can navigate the menu and push all the buttons, but when playing in a game, i just get "player 2 failed" everytime

i have a ps2, ps2 game and ps3 guitar.......bought ps3 bundle because ps2 bundle was too hard to find......i dont get this!

Dude, you need to rush out and buy the Xbox kit and use those instruments, if that fails to work, get GHIII on the Wii and hook that up, you'll totally be set then

no need to be a wiseguy this is an xmas present for a person wih a ps2.....im jus trying to figure out why the ps3 guitar isnt working for the ps2 game

While I'm not sure exactly why this is happening or how to fix your problem, to try to fend of any more trolls to your thread, it is already confirmed that the PS3 instruments work on the PS2.

Did you try both USB ports?
