Just wondering...
For those of you that bought the woodrock pedal...
What do you think of it?
I want to make sure it is performing well for you.
Ours is working GREAT!
Our 12-year old has a lead foot and it still rocks hard. :-)
Let me know...

I'll post my thoughts once I figure out how to remove the magnet (or my replacement pedal that's on the way hopefully lets the magnet fall right out).

Just got it today, that was fast shipment considering I am in Sweden.
Installation was quick and simple. I have the old style of pedal so I had to remove the orange bar in order for it to fit. This won't be a problem for people with the new style though. Also the original screws for the orange retainer are small and difficult to screw into the wood so I used other ones.
The finish and craftsmanship are just great, I was pleasantly surprised. It seems very sturdy. I can not see this one break no matter what. Some people have said that the metal plates are better but this wood pedal is as strong as it gets. Also I really like the idea of replacing the whole pedal and not just bolting on a plate to the plastic one since this way you reinforce the whole thing. If you only add a metal plate the joint at the bottom is still a weak spot.
All in all I am extremely pleased with this pedal. It looks great, performs great and feels very solid. I consider a handmade product of this quality and finish a steal at the price you are charging :)

Mine arrived today. I think I live within about 10-15 miles from you. :)
VERY solid. Might as well be metal in my opinion since I don't see metal being any better. Haven't installed it yet (haven't broken my original pedal yet, but $17 is cheap for insurance) but it looks like a very elegant solution.
Kudos on packaging it so well too.

My wife is our drummer, and she is thrilled with the woodrock pedal. We took it to a family gathering over the weekend and it stood up to a lot of abuse from kids and adults.

I JUST got my woodrock pedal in today, ordered last wednesday.
Installed it as soon as I got it. EXTREMELY solid. To the people who say a wood pedal wouldn't be as good as a broken plastic pedal splinted with a metal play I say you are wrong. The wood is a good 1/2 inch thick or so poplar it looks like, very solid and sturday. When you kick the pedal down there is no flexing or bending of the pedal.
ONE NOTE. Installation was successful, but as one person above noted there can be one problem. In the woodrock instructions the magnet is supposed to just slip out of the black plastic without a problem, this wasn't the case with me, my magnet was actually glued in. I ended up shaving down the black plastic retainer around the magnet maybe 1/16 or 1/32 of an inch so I could get a pair of needle nose pliers around the magnet safely and it pulled right out braking the glue seal. Other than the installation was a snap. All holes lined right up where they should.

Hey guys and wives :-)
So glad you are enjoying the WoodRock pedal.
They may end up being a collector's item, if I cannot get my Lowes to get another shipment of wood in for me. :-(
I am working on it. I have a dozen left to sell, then am hoping for more wood to get cracking (no pun intended) on another load.
Our son is still loving his pedal. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have ever embarked on this endeavor! See what we do for our kids?!??! :-)

I'll stop in here and drop a review after I test it on GG&HT or RttH. :)
Edit - I have installed the pedal and put a review on another of Plankeye's threads...
