Since the 2GB card in my Wii was getting filled to capacity with DLC, I decided to upgrade to a 4GB SD card. I bought the Transcen (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820208411)d card off of Newegg.
I got the card and put in my computer to transfer the DLC data to the card. The computer said the card needed to be formatted. The problem was the card would not format. I tried Quick Format and I got the "Windows cannot complete the format" error. I tried the long format and the progress bar did nothing. I tried the SDFormatter program and it gave me an error message.
I end up taking the card to the tech support place on campus. They tried to format it on a PC and a Mac. Failed both times. They told me the card was bad. I RMAed the card. That was two weeks ago.
I got the replacement on Monday and today, I tried the format this new card on my computer. Every method of formatting I tried failed. I'm going to try to take the card to the tech support place on Friday. If they say it's bad, I'm called bull. I would think Transcend's QA isn't that shoddy.
Anybody have trouble with SD cards like I have? I'm in need of some answers before I go insane because of these cards.
