I wanna know if i buy the intruments for my ps2, if they work on an xbox 360!

Im intending to buy an xbox but i really wanna play on the drums on my ps2! Can anyone explain this to me?:eek:

The PS2 instruments will work on a PS3, but not on an Xbox. You'll have to buy specific instruments for that.

Lex, of course, is correct. The only way to get any cross-platform compatibility is between the PS2 and PS3. If you want to get Rock Band for a current gen console, I'd suggest the PS3 simply because you also want to play on the PS2. You can get the PS2 instruments and just use them for both consoles instead of having to get both PS2 and 360 instruments. The PS3 version misses out on a couple of things that the 360 version has (RBN, Message of the day, later DLC release) but I think it's worth it if you don't have to spend extra time and money getting two sets of instruments.

These fine gentlemen are correct. The Logitech microphone that comes with RB, on the other hand, should work across all systems.
