One of the most underrated Rocks bands deserves more tunes in Rock band - there tunes are damn catchy & fun to play (Surrender on GH II anyone??), so here are some picks from certain LPs - although entire albums would be even better...
CHEAP TRICK (1977) LP PACK
Oh Candy
Mandocello
Daddy Should have stayed in High School
DREAM POLICE LP PACK
Dream Police
Way Of The World
Gonna Raise Hell
HEAVEN TONIGHT LP PACK
Surrender
California Man
Auf Wiedersehen
IN COLOR LP PACK
I Want You To Want Me (prefer Live version from Budokan though)
Clock Strikes Ten
Big Eyes
My 6 pack of songs from any LP might include (but may change at any time)...
Surrender
I Want You To Want Me (Live Version)
Dream Police
Tonight It's You
Daddy Should Have Stayed In High School
Auf Wiedersehen
I would love some Cheap Trick. I've always wanted to sing Surrender.

I wonder if mosty people would find some of this stuff very hard to sing, since Robin Zander has a very strong voice?? I know I would.

Oooh. I definently support this, especially if HMX decides to use He's a Whore (from Cheap Trick's first album) as DLC. Don't forget about their most recent album, either! Rockford nearly did the impossible: a "comeback" album that is just as good (if not better) than their older material.

I agree... Rockford is a great LP - was going to list a few tunes from that LP & others but there was just too much to choose from...
my picks for a 4 song pack from ROCKFORD would be...
Come On Come On Come On
Give It Away
One More
Decaf
a 5th bonus track would be: Welcome to the World

Great call with Auf Wiedersehen, I've been wanting that one for ages.
On Top of the World and Stiff Competition would rock too.

I prefer the Letters to Cleo cover of I Want You to Want Me much better. Its more lively than the original and seems more fresh. I mean the original is better performed, but it sounds more flat than the cover of it. Also it could be used for an added song for a female singer.
Here is a video from the end of 10 Things I Hate About You where the band performs it.
Also another funny tidbit if you watch before the song starts playing the guy gives the girl a FENDER STRAT as a present. Call that coincidence lol.

This is just my opinion on it.

Naw, I'm just not feeling the Brokeback version of a great song by Cheap Trick. That sounded mopey and whiney at the same time.

If you were going to select songs from Rockford, there's a phenomenal run of three songs on the album:
Every Night and Every Day
Dream the Night Away
All Those Years
I think a case could be made for If It Takes a Lifetime too.
